Welcome to the blog for the Revisiting Child Protection in Scotland project. We are a partnership between Social Work at The University of Edinburgh, Scottish Association of Social Work, the Scottish Social Services Council, the Scottish Government and Children in Scotland.

This blog has insights from academics, policy makers, practitioners and service users about child protection in Scotland. It intends to raise awareness about the complexity of practising child protection social work. It also aims to stimulate discussion and debate about the future of child protection social work in Scotland.
