This blog brings together research from across the School of Social and Political Science at The University of Edinburgh.
The School of Social and Political Science provides an intellectually vibrant and stimulating teaching and research environment for an international community of over 200 world-class academic staff, 1000 undergraduate students, around 500 taught and 350 research postgraduate students.
The School promotes a culture of research and collaboration across its subject areas, groups and centres. These include Politics and International Relations, Social Anthropology, Social Policy, Social Work, Sociology, and Science, Technology and Innovation Studies, the Institute of Governance and the Centres of Canadian Studies, African Studies and South Asian Studies. The School’s interdisciplinary focus cuts across traditional social scientific boundaries, bringing together experts from across the School and the University to inspire and challenge students.
