Many of its schools and institutes house academics dedicated to informing the debate on the future of Scotland and the UK. In <a title=\"School of Social and Political\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sps.ed.ac.uk\">Social Sciences<\/a>, <a title=\"Edinburgh School of Law\" href=\"http:\/\/www.law.ed.ac.uk\">Law<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ed.ac.uk\/schools-departments\/history-classics-archaeology\">History<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ed.ac.uk\/schools-departments\/economics\/\">Economics<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.business-school.ed.ac.uk\/\">Business<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ed.ac.uk\/schools-departments\/divinity\/\">Divinity<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ed.ac.uk\/schools-departments\/geosciences\/\">GeoSciences<\/a>, among others, scholars are absorbed in research to extend our understanding of the issues at stake in the independence referendum.<\/p>\n<p>This Blog will provide a platform for disseminating research, providing commentary and promoting events to inform the referendum debate.
