Engagement

We organised our first two public engagement events in 2018.

The Institute for Public Policy Research, London, UK (11 July 2018)

At the event in London hosted with IPPR, Christina and Mike had an opportunity to present some of the project findings, and discuss them with a group of MPs, as well as experts from business and law firms, NGOs, local government, think tanks and academia. Much of the discussion explored trends in UK migration control. Read more about this in Christina’s blog post.

International Centre for Migration Policy Development, Brussels, Belgium (19 October 2018)

Christina and Elisabeth discussed irregular migrants and state ‘nodes of interaction’ in the EU at this round-table. The slides from this event are available (‘Brussels 19 Oct presentation‘) or you can read the blog post, which summarises some of the key elements of the discussion.
