In addition, the event will consider some of the obstacles to change while also engaging with ideas of how we can take this conversation into local areas &#8211; event(s) 3.<\/p>\n<p>Lord Carloway, the new Head of Scotland\u2019s judiciary, will address the theme of \u2018progressing Scottish justice?\u2019. The event will also involve contributions from Professor Mike Nellis, Positive Prison? Positive Futures, Oliver Escobar and Vox Liminis.<\/p>\n<p>As before, this is not an academic or policy gathering. The aim of this series is to provide a space for interested actors and voices to come together to respond to the growing mood in civic Scotland for political, cultural and institutional change in relation to Scottish justice matters. Participants should come with ideas and be prepared to take forward actions in their own areas of influence to effect change.<\/p>\n<p>As you will see, this event is billed as a \u20181+1 event\u2019.
